JON BRADY SAYS SQUAD DETERMINED TO BOUNCE BACK ON SATURDAY

The views of the Cobblers boss

Jon Brady says the squad are looking forward to Saturday to try and put Tuesday's loss at Peterborough United behind them.

The Cobblers boss said the squad are hurting from the midweek defeat, but there is a determination to bounce back at Cambridge United this weekend.

"Tuesday night was disappointing and it hurt us but to get it out of our system all we can do is go out and put in a much better performance on Saturday," he said.

"We probably raised the expectation levels by how well we have done this season and it is a positive that we now expect to compete with the sides at the top of this league. We understand that and that's great and that’s everything we want to do - it underlines our progress - but the result does sting. Peterborough played very well on the night but we know we can and have to do much better than we did on Tuesday. They were very clinical, they put away the chances they had and it was disappointing but now we look forward to Saturday with a determination and a focus to try and put in a much better performance.

"Nothing has changed for us. We want to get back out there as soon as possible and do things much better than we did on Tuesday."
