MATCHDAY PROGRAMME SELLERS

Northampton Town are looking to recruit Matchday Programme Sellers for the 2017/18 season.

You will be working on home matchdays at Northampton Town Football Club and will be responsible for dealing with customers and selling them programmes and 50/50 tickets.

You will ensure that fans visiting the ground are helped and supported as required and will liaise with other matchday teams as required to resolve questions or gain information

Responsibilities
• To provide a service selling programmes & 50/50 tickets to fans on match day.
• To be a visible sign of support and information for all visitors. Be alert to people around you, acknowledging them, checking they are OK.
• To resolve or escalate any issues of concern or complaint in the appropriate manner and following club policy and procedures
• To ensure matchday standards in own area are delivered.
• Feedback post-match any issues or opportunities to improve our matchday experience or service.
• Observe Health and Safety aspects

Requirements
• Professional, polite and positive, be comfortable in shouting loudly and approaching strangers to sell products.
• Good and clear communication skills
• Good self-presentation
• Ability to build relationships and rapport
• Team player

Applicants must be 18 or over and live within daily travelling distance of Northampton Town Football Club.

MATCHDAY 'HERE TO HELP' STAFF

Northampton Town are looking to recruit some Here to Help matchday staff for the 2017/18 season.

You will ensure that fans visiting the ground are helped and supported as required and will liaise with other matchday teams as required to resolve questions or gain information

MATCHDAY PITCHSIDE HELPERS

Northampton Town are looking to recruit some pitchside helpers for season 2017/18.

Description
You will be part of a team ensuring all match day experiences, birthday parties, mascots and half time entertainment are delivered professionally and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
• To work under the matchday pitchside supervisor
• You will be required to apply and pass a DB check
• You will be required to work pitch side, often out in the open in the matchday entertainment setting up and running games, flag waivers, guard of honour, centre circle, birthday parties and half time Skip challenge
• To be a visible sign of support and information for all visitors
• Be alert to people around you, acknowledging them, checking they are OK
• To ensure matchday standards are delivered.
• Feedback post-match any issues or opportunities to improve our matchday experience or service.
• Observe Health and Safety aspects

Proof of eligibility to work within the UK is required which must be provided at first interview. Applicants must be 18 or over and live within daily travelling distance of Northampton Town Football Club.

FULL TIME SPORT COACHES

The Northampton Town Community Trust are looking to hire two full time school sport coaches to work within our ‘Premier League Primary Stars’ programme.

‘Premier League Primary Stars’ is a national programme, which provides PE & Sport support for schools and teachers, using the inspiration from the Premier League and professional football clubs to impact primary aged children.

The role will include:
- Delivery of the ‘Premier League Primary Stars’ programme to schools across Northamptonshire.
- To develop, consolidate and enhance links between Northampton Town Community Trust and local primary schools.
- To plan, deliver and review KS1 & KS2 PE curriculum lessons, whilst supporting the school class teacher.
- Ensure key KPIs from ‘Premier League Primary Stars’ programme is being met.
- Assist with the delivery of other Northampton Town Community Trust programmes where necessary.

All applicants must be Level 2 qualified, have a knowledge of National Curriculum Standards within PE in Key Stage 1 and 2 and have a full Enhanced CRB Disclosure, as well as having previous experience of working within a school environment. Salary depending on experience. End date for applicants will be 12:00pm on Friday 28th July. Each successful applicant will undergo an interview process, week beginning 31st August.

Working hours are flexible, including some evening and weekend hours.
