TRIALS FOR NORTHAMPTON TOWN WOMEN

Northampton Town Women are holding an open trial ahead of the 2022-23 season.

The club are recruiting players for their first, development and newly-formed under 18s teams.

The trial has been arranged on the back of a highly successful campaign for the Cobblers Women.

The first team, led by joint-managers Lou Barry and Josh Oldfield, were crowned East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League Premier Division champions after an unbeaten season, and will compete in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands, the fourth tier, next year. They also won the Northamptonshire FA Women’s Cup and made history by reaching the third round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup for the first time.

The development squad, coached by Alex de Boer and James Geddes, also tasted cup success, winning both the Northamptonshire Women’s and Girls Football League Cup and the Northampton Town FA Women’s Cup.

More information about the new under 18s team will be released in due course.

The trial will take place between 7:00pm and 9:00pm on Tuesday 7th June at Moulton College Gate 4, Pitsford Road, Moulton, Northamptonshire, NN3 7QL. Complete this form to sign up.
