Northampton Town Under 18s won 9-2 away to Exeter City in the EFL Youth Alliance Merit League Two on Saturday morning.
The young Cobblers earned their third consecutive victory in their penultimate fixture of the season.
The visitors raced into a 5-1 lead at half-time thanks to a brace from Neo Dobson as well as strikes from Francesco Obiagwu, Josh Rayfield and James Owen.
Dobson completed his hat-trick whilst Joziah Barnett, William Ronald and Oliver Evans netted the Cobblers’ other goals in the second half.
The youth team host Milton Keynes Dons on the final day of the campaign next week.
