Cobblers boss previews Northampton Town v Bury

Cobblers boss Rob Page previews Saturday’s home game against Bury. The Shakers have endured a disappointing October, but the Cobblers boss says that won't mean anything on Saturday.

“Millwall weren’t on great form when they came here and we can’t underestimate anybody irrespective of form," he said.

“Every team goes through an indifferent spell at some point during the season and Bury are certainly going through it at the minute but you know it can turn quickly.

“They had an unbelievable start to the season and you don’t become a bad group and bad players overnight.

“We were very positive in our play against Shrewsbury and we will be looking to build on that.

“I was pleased with our performance and reaction on Saturday and there were far too many positives to dwell on the negatives. We will address those and in regards to the two penalties it was really down to ill-discipline and decision making.

“I think you could have put any team in this league in front of us on Saturday and in my opinion we would have come out on top.

“We need to replicate that level of performance against Bury and if we do that we will stand a good chance of winning the game."
