Northampton Town Football in Community squad had a great time on Saturday
Northampton Town's Community Officer, Russell Lewis and coaches Kevin Rootes and Mustafa had a fantastic day at Wycombe recently.
First the group played a fixture against our friends from Gateway, a game that was played a match which was played in an excellent spirit with the Cobblers coming out winners.
After a shower there was a food stop in a restaurant where the players exchanged 'banter' amongst themselves and where the hosts kindly paid the bill!
After the food it was all systems go to get to the ground to see the Cobblers beat Wycombe Wanderers.
The day was fantastic and a great way for our players to play against a new team and have a great day out with friends old and new.
