Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team welcomed Leyton Orient to Moulton College on Tuesday afternoon in the Football League Youth Alliance.
The Cobblers were beaten 2-1 with Orient netting a late winner to claim the victory.
“I’m disappointed because I felt we deserved to take at least a point from the game, if not all three,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“The boys battled hard and to concede a goal late on was disappointing because on the balance of play we should have got something out of the game.”
Dodzi Agbenu scored the Cobblers goal.
