Northampton Town signed Yaser Kasim on a 2 year contract in the summer of 2017 after he opted to leave Swindon Town.
Kasim began his career at Brighton & Hove Albion and after loan spells with Luton Town and Macclesfield Town, he moved to Swindon Town in August 2013. Amid rumours of interest from Premier League clubs West Ham United and Swansea City, he played a key role as the Robins made the League 1 play off final in 2015, appearing 44 times for Swindon that season. In all he made 139 appearances in his four year stay at Swindon Town.
