Northampton Town signed midfielder Jordan Flores from Hull City in August 2021.

Flores started his career with Wigan Athletic and made eleven first team appearances. In his time with the Latics, he also enjoyed spells on loan with Blackpool (21 appearances) where he helped the Pool win promotion from League 2, Chesterfield (15 appearances) and Östersunds in Sweden. He signed for Irish Champions Dundalk in January 2019, playing in the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League, scoring in their group game with Arsenal. His time in Ireland saw him nominated for the 2020 Puskas Award for a left footed volley he scored for Dundalk against Shamrock. He has a knack of scoring spectacular goals, and he won Wigan Athletic’s Goal of the Season award in 2015/16 with his first career goal. He joined League 1 Champions elect Hull City in January 2021, signing an 18 month contract.
