Northampton Town Football Club

Northampton Town signed Mansfield Town striker Danny Rose in October 2020.

Rose began his career with his hometown club of Barnsley, where he made 18 appearances, the majority of which came in the Championship, before he joined Bury on loan. After a successful loan spell, he made the move to the Shakers permanent, scoring 20 times in a two year stay before moving to Mansfield Town in the summer of 2016. He found the net 44 times for the Stags as he started 113 games. His performances at Mansfield led to him becoming a fans favourite and he was named the players player of the season in 2017/18.
