The February nominations for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month Award are:
Reeco Hackett (Lincoln City) - winger
Returning from a hamstring injury, Hackett has discovered a dazzling freedom under new Lincoln manager Michael Skubala, both positionally and in shooting and crossing more often. The result? Four goals and two assists in his five games.
Paddy Lane (Portsmouth) – winger
Four goals and two assists for a player who is loving life at Fratton Park and his hero status with the Pompey faithful. Playing on either wing, taking players on and bursting forward, he executed two exuberant finishes against Northampton.
Marc Leonard (Northampton Town) - midfielder
Leonard is central to Northampton’s side of entertainers with the quality of his passing. In February, he tapped into a rich scoring vein with four goals, among them a thunderbolt at Portsmouth and a sweetly timed strike against Bristol Rovers.
Adam Phillips (Barnsley) - midfielder
A fixture in the Barnsley midfield, Phillips burst into technicolour form with four goals and three perfectly placed assists in five games. He burst forward to thrilling effect, scoring the equaliser and winner in each of the comeback wins over Orient and Derby.
