Jon Brady praised the opponents as he reflected on Tuesday night’s 1-0 home defeat to Blackpool.
“It shows how far we’ve come that we are a little bit disappointed after that,” he said.
“Possession wise I felt we went toe-to-toe but going forward we couldn’t quite find the solutions. Credit to Blackpool they are a very good side that’s hard to break down.
“We stood up to Blackpool for the most part but just lost out in that one key moment
“Structurally I thought we were really good in the way we set up tonight and our general shape was really good.
“Offensively we could have done more but Blackpool worked hard to shut us out and it wasn’t to be for us tonight.
“Liam Moore came off with cramp, it was a gamble to start him tonight but I thought he was brilliant.
“We’ve got 8 games to go and we want to finish the season strong. We’ve had some injuries in the backline as we know but hopefully by the end of the month we will start to get some players back.”
