JON BRADY LOOKING FORWARD TO CHALLENGE OF TAKING ON IN-FORM LEYTON ORIENT

Jon Brady is looking forward to the challenge of taking on one of League One's most in-form teams as he previews the midweek trip to Leyton Orient.

“They have done very well recently and apart from the defeat at Barnsley on Saturday they have been the most in-form team in the league,” he said.

“We know how hard the challenge will be on Tuesday night, they have got a lot of pace and power in their side and we saw from the game here earlier in the season that they are a good side.

“Over the years we have had some great battles between us and I’m sure Tuesday night will be no different. Richie Wellens has done a great job there and he has really turned the club around.

“We will go there to take the game to the opposition as we always do, I’m sure we will have fantastic support there as always and we are looking forward to that as well.”

Looking back on the weekend draw with Bolton Wanderers, Brady said:

“The game could have gone either way on Saturday but overall to get a point against a side chasing promotion is a good point and it’s another step towards where we want to be at the end of the season.

“For the most part the players have stepped up and shown a reaction whenever required and that’s important because you can have a hangover from bad performances. Over a long season there are always going to be dips, I don’t feel that there is ever a lack of effort, application and attitude from the players but sometimes collectively you can be poor, that's football.

“Even top teams have a blip but what we need to try and do is keep at a consistent level. We had done that over a period of time and that’s where we need to get back to.

“Mentally what we try and do after a bad result or performance is to learn from it and we are constantly trying to move forward. We’ve got a great group and we try and win every single game we play.

“That front foot mentality is what we are about and I thought on Saturday we got back to that and represented ourselves a lot better.”
