Jon Brady previews the final home game of the season with in-form Exeter City the visitors to Sixfields on Saturday, kick off 2pm.

“First and foremost we want to put on a strong performance,” he said.

“We’ve had some fantastic attendances here this season and that is testament to the players and the supporters.

“We’ve built that connection over the last three years and we want to finish on a real top performance.

“It’s our last home game and it would be nice if we can get the ground full.

“Going away from home is a lot tougher in League One but we have maintained our strong home form.

“Our home form has been really pleasing and the fans have had a big part to play in that.

“There have been some unbelievable moments for us at Sixfields this season and that is the joy that football can bring. We want to give that joy to the supporters and keep that connection going.

“Exeter are the inform team in the league right now and they have had an excellent run. We know how tough it’s going to be but we want to play at a high tempo and represent ourselves in the best way possible.

“It’s going to be one hell of a challenge and we have got to make sure that we are up to it.

“We’ve faced a lot of tough challenges this season and come out on top and we want to do that again on Saturday. We want to finish the season as high as we can.

“It was a tough afternoon for us at Fleetwood but if you start a game like we did on Saturday then you are going to get punished. Fleetwood were excellent to a man and we weren’t at our best.

“We’ve said all along at this level that we need to be at our best and if we’re not we will get punished and we did. That game has gone, now though, its onto Exeter and we want to finish our home games on a positive.”
