An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team in the following position: Women and Girls Development Manager
We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing opportunities for more women and girls to take part in football. In this role you will manage the day to day running of the women and girls department at the Community Trust. You will oversee the women’s teams and grassroots teams representing NTFC (12 teams from u10’s to u16’s) along with development centres (elite and foundation) and the FA Emerging Talent Centre programme.
You will also coordinate a range of community initiatives to support more women and girls to take part in football. In addition to activities such as holiday courses and FA wildcats, you’ll have the opportunity to develop new ideas to improve female participation working with the local community to do this, leading a team of passionate delivery staff and volunteers. Due to the nature of this role, some evening and weekend working will be required.
Job Purpose:
1. You will drive participation of women and girls' football, providing opportunities for women and girls of all ages and abilities to take part in football across Northamptonshire.
2. To coordinate and oversee all women and girls provision delivered by the community trust including NTFC Grassroots Teams, Girls Development Centres, Female Community Football Sessions and the NTFC Women’s Teams.
3. Work closely with NTFC to raise the profile of the women and girls’ teams in the club and community.
