Jon Brady says there was so much to be positive about as he looked back on Saturday's narrow defeat to Wycombe Wanderers.
The Cobblers were beaten by Richard Keogh's early goal, but Brady said there was much to take from the game.
“Watching Saturday’s game back there were so many positives for us to take, we just needed the ball to drop kindly for us on a couple of occasions and the result is different," he said.
"It didn’t quite happen for us on Saturday but it’s just those fine margins that we’ve spoken about.
“We’ve gone up a level and this league is a lot tougher but we feel are performances have been consistently strong.”
