Jon Brady acknowledges there is no expectation on his side ahead of Tuesday night’s trip to in-form Blackpool, and he is happy that is the case.
“A lot of people have probably written us off for this one but there is nothing better than being the underdog,” he said.
“Blackpool have a strong squad with Championship experience and their expectation will be to be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.
“Our expectation and challenge is a bit different but we are at this level to compete against teams like Blackpool and be competitive.
“Back to back wins have really helped us to move up the table but as we’ve said before you can’t get too high or too low with the results, it’s a tough league and there are teams at this level where you need to hang in against to try and get a result.
“At this level there are levels within levels, it is tough and you have to try and pick up points against the teams you are competing with.
“There are definitely games you have to target and there are other games where you have to try and grind it out.”
