After Saturday's game at Charlton Athletic was postponed because of the international break, Jon Brady says he is looking forward to returning to action in Tuesday night’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy tie at MK Dons.
“The break has been nice and especially coming on the back of a win,” he said.
“The place has been a little bit more buoyant and there is a little bit more confidence in the group after the performance against Burton.
“Since the last two international breaks we’ve changed our scheduling a little bit, we feel that will come to fruition and it’s good to have the game on Tuesday night to get us back into the swing of things.
“We don’t see it as a game to get out the way, it’s a positive opportunity for us to build some players minutes and get some sharpness as well.
“I’m glad we’ve got the game and it also gives us a chance to see some of the younger players.
“We want to build confidence and momentum and we are going to try and play at a high tempo.”
