Jon Brady is waiting on the fitness of goalkeeper Lee Burge ahead of Saturday’s visit from Burton Albion.
Kieron Bowie is meanwhile available for selection again after completing his three-match ban.
“We will have to see about Lee for Saturday but it will probably be a late decision,” he said.
“It’s the same with Louis Appere and Jack Sowerby, we are still trying to build their minutes and after Saturday we have a two week break from the league.
“It’s been tough with the injury constraints we’ve had but we are starting to get players back.
“Hopefully we are nearing the time where we have a full group to choose from but in the meantime other players have to step up and make sure they deliver.”
