PLEASE HELP US SUPPORT THE CASTLE HILL FOODBANK THIS CHRISTMAS

The squad are supporting this important festive appeal

30 November 2023

Northampton Town Football Club are supporting the Castle Hill United Reformed Church foodbanks Christmas hampers this festive season.

Castle Hill are one of the smallest food banks, yet support some of the largest number of families and individuals across all food banks in Northamptonshire.

The majority of those who they support are what they call the 'Working Poor'; parents or grandparents working but not earning enough money to live on, what comes in is less than what goes out.

The first team squad will be visiting the Castle Hill foodbank just before Christmas to hand over some items and any supporter who wishes to support the appeal is able to drop items off in the ticket office at Sixfields from now until December 13th.

The following items are welcomed to support Christmas hampers:

After Eights (or any brand of after dinner mints)
Pringles (or any other brand of tubed crisps)
Fruit Juice
Share bags of crisps
Popcorn
Cereal Bars
Cake Bars
Tinned fruit cocktail
Trifle Kit
Christmassy cakes/cookies

Supporters may know Liz (Minister of Castle Hill United Reformed Church) and Tracey (Castle Hill Foodbank Co ordinator), as they are also matchday volunteer party hosts at Sixfields.
