The Northampton Town Community Trust are the charitable arm of Northampton Town Football Club, who engage with over a thousand people across 36 projects and programmes, per week! The programmes are designed to improve health, connect communities, and enhance life opportunities.
The EFL week of Action culminated on Saturday, when we celebrated everything community with over 600 invited guests to the match against Burton Albion. All guests were participants engaging with the Community Trust’s departments: Education & Skills, Health & Wellbeing, Disability, Participation, Inclusion & Women & Girls.
The Northampton Town Community Trust team held various stalls to promote their projects and activities around the back of the LCS Dave Bowen North Stand & IN’n’OUT Autocentres Family area, and the day included the grand opening of the new Northampton Town Community pitch, on which we showcased our Women & Girls, Walking Football and Pan-Disability football groups on the new pitch, following which fans took advantage of the free access to the pitch.
We also saw a half time parade from some of the users and participants in the Northampton Town Community Trust programmes.
