Jon Brady praised his side’s second half performance as goals from Kieron Bowie and Sam Hoskins secured a 2-1 win over Cambridge United in front of a crowd just under 7,000 at Sixfields.
“We were much more purposeful with our runs in the second half,” he said.
“In the first half I felt we were dominant but the second half was much better.
“There were lots of passages of our play today that were really pleasing and we restricted Cambridge for the most part.
“Blackpool will be tough but as we’ve said all season we won’t fear anyone. It will be a tough challenge but we will try and rise to it.”
