NORTHAMPTON TOWN WOMEN SET FOR SIXFIELDS ON SUNDAY

Free admission for season ticket holders

1 March 2023

Northampton Town Women will again be playing at Sixfields on Sunday after breaking their record attendance once again in November.

The Cobblers, who were promoted last season and now play in the fourth tier of English football, are welcoming Sporting Khalsa to Sixfields on Sunday (March 5th) as part of their International Women’s Day celebrations.

The game will kick off at 2pm, with admission prices at £5 in advance of matchday and £7 on the day of the game. Cobblers season ticket holders are admitted free as are under 18s, with both needing to collect their match ticket from the main club ticket office to gain admission. For all concession tickets, ID must be available upon request.

The Cobblers are delighted to welcome Persimmon Homes as Match Sponsor. Claire Dearsden Sales Director for Persimmon Homes said: "At Persimmon, we're committed to offering support to the communities in and around our current and future developments in whichever way will benefit those communities most.

"We're delighted to be able to sponsor the women's team at Northampton Town FC for their International Women's Day game, giving a boost to local women's sport in the area."

Tickets for the game are available now from the ticket office and ntfcdirect.co.uk

Two large crowds saw the Northampton Town Women in action at Sixfields last season, as well as a record 1,011 crowd who watched the girls win 3-2 vs Lincoln City in November. The club are hopeful of an even bigger attendance this time around.
