A look at the midweek action for our young plyers out on loan or work experience

Five Northampton Town youngsters featured for their loan clubs on Tuesday night.

Liam Cross came off the bench in the 70th minute as Leamington travelled to Banbury United and held their rivals to a 2-2 draw in the Vanarama National League North.

Elsewhere, Ayo Lekuti started for Bromsgrove Sporting who narrowly lost 1-0 at home to Stratford Town in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central.

Meanwhile, Tommy Curry made his debut for Cogenhoe United who lost 2-0 away to Lutterworth Town and Rico Duggan was involved as Desborough Town were beaten away to third-placed Coventry Sphinx in the uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division South.

Finally, second-half substitute Miguel Ngwa rounded-off the scoring as Rushall Olympic progressed to the semi-finals of the Staffordshire Senior Cup with a comfortable 6-1 win away to Sporting Khalsa.

The midfielder moved the ball out of his feet on the edge of the area and fired past the opposition ‘keeper to score his first goal for the Pics.
