Jon Brady praised the way his players adapted as they beat Doncaster Rovers last weekend.
With a whole host of players unavailable, Brady reserved special praise for those players who stepped in to unfamiliar roles to help secure the win.
“All things considered Saturday was about getting the three points, we felt it was a strong performance but we know we won’t at our best and we’ve got more in us," he said.
“We are still finding a way despite all the injuries and we will have to do that again on Saturday against Stevenage.
“You have to be adaptable and flexible and the players are certainly being that at the moment.
“I have had a brief glance at the table but it means nothing with 8 games to go.
“Where we are in 8 games time is the most important thing and like I said at the weekend we have to just keep chipping away.
“The whole group is really pulling together and working so hard, I don’t think there is any expectation and that’s the way it should be right now.. We are enjoying playing with some freedom and just enjoying every match.”
