THANK YOU FROM THE UNITED REFORMED CHURCH FOODBANK

Thank you to everyone who supported the appeal

10 January 2023

We were delighted to receive the below letter from Liz Adams of the United Reformed Church in Northampton, who we helped support with the Christmas appeal

As Minister of Castle Hill United Reformed Church as well as a huge Cobblers fan, I’d like to firstly express my sincere thanks to the football club for responding to the need of the local community and enabling a donation point at the club, freeing players up to come and see first-hand what we do and to help us with our hamper packing and school distribution, raising awareness of poverty that is on our doorsteps and highlighting the need through The Cobbler match programme.

Sincere thanks must also go to all you amazing Cobblers supporters, who gave so much during a time of uncertainty to people you didn’t even know. The amount of donations was incredible, and I thank each and every one of you who donated.

Not only has the Football club, staff and supporters helped in a practical way, but the media attention has raised the profile of our independent foodbank which has meant we can help more people who are in need and also access other food supplies.

If you would like to continue to support the foodbank either financially or with donations please get in touch through the ticket office.

May 2023 be full of blessings both on and off the pitch,

Come on Cobblers !!!

Liz

The ticket office will continue to act as a drop off point for any supporter who wishes to make a donation to support the work of the foodbank.
