Jon Brady is looking to try and continue the Cobblers recent progress as he previews the Boxing Day game at Stevenage.
“Northampton is my home town and to do what we are doing is really pleasing,” he said.
“We want to give the fans something with our performances and I feel we are doing that.
“I’m not really looking at the table, I’m just looking at our five game sets.
“We are trying to achieve something this season that hasn’t been achieved here in a while and that’s our primary focus.
“We’ve still got seven players out and I’m trying to manage bodies.
“Stevenage have done very well this season, they have pushed their investment and with the squad they have they should be up there.
“We will be the underdogs on Boxing Day but you know what the underdogs can do.”
