Jon Brady says the Cobblers are looking forward to the challenge of taking on one of League One's top teams as they prepare Saturday’s home game against Oxford United.
“Oxford are another team who are expected to be there or thereabouts come the end of the season, we’ve got another fight to fight but we feel we can be really competitive on the day,” he said.
“I know about their squad and the resources they have, they have good players and that’s why they are up there.
“they have quality running right throughout their side and it is a different type of challenge for us on Saturday but as ever we believe in our group and we will be trying to get the result.
“We have a bit of a gap between ourselves and the bottom four at the moment but we want to try and climb as high up the table as we can.
“That’s our aim and we are trying to look forward not back.”
