Jon Brady says the old adage of 'never too high, never too low,' applies as much as ever as the squad prepare for the trip to Carlisle United on Saturday.
“Results have been good and four wins out of five is a strong run of form at this level but we are taking nothing for granted in terms of what we are trying to achieve and how hard we are working," he said.
“It’s not easy to keep a high level of consistency but the players are pushing themselves beyond their limits and everyone is working extremely hard.
“We are starting to prove ourselves at this level on a more consistent basis but time will tell and ultimately we will be judged after 46 games.
“There are some real positives at the moment but we can’t get carried away, we need to maintain a level of consistency and keep showing those strong and good habits.
“The players are in a strong moment, they are connecting really well and being able to play pretty much the same side in the last few games has been a big help.
“The group has grown together over the last couple of years and to see players stretch themselves and show that growth is really pleasing.
“You are never that finished article and we just have to keep trying to improve in every game.”
