Northampton Town manager Jon Brady says that Saturday's trip to Wigan Athletic is the sort of game his side fought hard to earn when winning promotion last season.
The Cobblers travel to the Latics on Saturday and it is a game Brady is relishing.
"Games like Wigan are what we fought for last season," he said. "We are here to compete, we want to go there and be hugely competitive and we believe we can be. Playing Wigan is a fresh challenge and there are lots of elements to that. Teams have different styles and different ways and we will try and find a way to nullify their strengths and exploit their weaknesses and if we can be as competitive as we think we can be then we can pick up results along the way.
"We believe in what we do and how we do it. It has given us a lot of success and we are taking that forward with a very similar group this season. We know our game inside out and that's a help.
"Wigan have a very strong side with very good players. They won away at Derby which is a strong start but we believe we can go there and be really competitive up against them."
