Seven Northampton Town loanees were in action for their temporary clubs on Saturday afternoon, each side playing their final fixtures of their regular seasons.

Ayo Lekuti started for Bromsgrove Sporting who lost away to Royston Town in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central.

James Dadge made a great save on the hour mark, but St. Ives Town were also defeated away to Nuneaton Borough in the same division.

Elsewhere, Miguel Ngwa came off the bench on the hour mark as Spalding United narrowly lost 2-1 away to Sporting Khalsa in the Northern Premier League Midlands.

The sides will meet again in a one-legged play-off semi-final on Tuesday evening, having ended the campaign in third and fourth place respectively.

Following on from scoring his first senior goal the previous week, Dylan Hill netted again as Harborough Town won 6-1 at home to Dereham Town in the same league.

The midfielder sent a sweet strike across the ‘keeper and into the far corner to add his team’s fourth goal going into the final 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Kenny Ndefo featured as Wellingborough Town drew 1-1 away to Rugby Town, both sides ending the season in the top four of the uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division South.

Rico Duggan was involved as Desborough Town came from behind to win 2-1 away to March Town United in the same division.

Finally, Tommy Curry’s Cogenhoe United won 3-0 at home to county rivals Rothwell Corinthians in another UCL Premier Division South fixture.
