Jack Sowerby is a major doubt for the visit of Harrogate Town this weekend.
“The way Jack came off against Sutton didn’t look very positive,” said boss Jon Brady.
“We are still waiting on some results but he’s not moving well and I doubt he will be back for this weekend.
“Sam Sherring and Max Dyche came through Tuesday well and that is testament to both of them.
“They are way ahead of where they should be but like the rest of the group they are willing to put their bodies on the line for the football club.
“It’s been a brutal season and because of the injuries we’ve had for every game we haven’t had the opportunity to rest players. It is a viscious circle, you pick up an injury which means you can't rest someone else or have to bring someone back quicker than you should and then they get injured and on it goes but you have no choice.
“Last year we were in the top five in the division for the fewest number of injuries so maybe we are being paid back double for that this year.”
