HARVEY LINTOTT SIGNS NEW 2 YEAR CONTRACT WITH NORTHAMPTON TOWN

Defender extends Sixfields stay

3 April 2023

Defender Harvey Lintott has signed a new 2 year contract to stay with Northampton Town until the summer of 2025.

The 20 year old right back arrived at Sixfields last summer from Gillingham and has made a big impression.

Lintott has made 34 appearances for the club so far, and manager Jon Brady said he was delighted to have extended the defender's stay.

"Harvey has done fantastically well for us so far," he said.

"We have seen his game progress superbly in his time with us and we know there is the potential for more to come.

"He has a fantastic attitude, he has fitted in very well here both in the dressing room and he is very popular with the supporters.

"Extending Harvey's new contract was important to us and he joins a strong group of players already under contract for next season and beyond."

Lintott himself added, "I am delighted and I feel I have really pushed on with my career since coming here.

"I feel I have done well this season and have developed as a player. I have had a great start here and I am looking forward to continuing that.

"This is a great club to be at and I feel we are heading in the right direction. The coaching staff here are first class, they have really helped me develop and I will work hard to see that continue.

"It is great to feel settled, to feel at home and to have my future sorted out and I am delighted to be staying with Northampton Town."
