Miguel Ngwa was involved as AFC Rushden and Diamonds secured their first win of the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central season.
The Northampton Town midfielder starred as his loan side won 2-1 away to Barwell on Saturday.
He played the full 90 minutes and was involved in both of the visitors’ goals, flicking home at the far post to round-off a counter attack on the half-an-hour mark before crossing to set-up the second early in the second half.
Ngwa’s Cobblers teammate Jack Connor was an unused substitute.
