Miguel Ngwa and Jack Connor were involved in AFC Rushden and Diamonds colours on Saturday afternoon.
The Northampton Town loanees both featured as their side drew 1-1 at home to Bromsgrove Sporting in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central.
Ngwa started and was named player of the match. He was involved in two first half chances, almost beating the ‘keeper to the ball in the opening 60 seconds and firing just over 10 minutes before the break.
The midfielder also had two attempts after the interval, a curled shot that was tipped away by the ‘keeper and a drive that went narrowly off target following a mazy dribble.
Forward Connor came off the bench in the 59th minute and nearly scored within a minute when he ran through on goal and was denied by the ‘keeper under pressure.
