Jon Brady reflecting on Tuesday night’s 1-0 defeat at Walsall.
“It was a difficult night, we pushed and pushed towards the end and probably dominated the last half an hour without really testing their goalkeeper,” he said.
“We couldn’t quite get to grips with Walsall in the first half but we changed our shape a bit in the second half and started to impose our game a little bit more.
“The squad was stretched again tonight but the young players who came on did really well and that was good to see.
“Sam Hoskins makes a huge difference to us and it is a frustrating period for us with injuries and illness but hopefully we will have some players back for Saturday.
“I’m disappointed tonight but overall we have been on a good run and we just have to reset ourselves from this result and go again.”
