Jon Brady is set to take charge of Northampton Town for the 100th time on Saturday when the Cobblers take on Tranmere at Sixfields.

“I’ve loved every minute of my time in charge so far and what we’ve tried to do is connect the players and the staff to the fans,” he said.

“We have tried to give the players a lot more consistency in terms of the group and we feel we are getting the recruitment right.

“There is no greater enjoyment for me and the staff than seeing players improve.

“I am immensely proud to be in charge of this football club and 100 games is a nice milestone but it’s not just me it’s down to the help and belief I’ve had from my staff.

“All we are trying to do is keep improving, that’s myself, the staff and the players and we all want to make this football club the best it can be.

“I am very lucky that I have a Chairman in Kelvin Thomas and Chief Executive in James Whiting. They are both great human beings and are both really supportive in everything we do.”
