Jon Brady is awaiting on some fitness checks before deciding on his attacking options for Saturday's trip to Bradford City.
Louis Appere is rated as 'touch and go' while a decision is still pending on Kieron Bowie’s availability.
Bowie has been away with the Scotland under-21s and Brady says the decision is down to Scotland.
“We’ve been speaking to the SFA and we hope they can help us,” said Brady.
“At the moment we still don’t know for sure one way or another, it’s down to the SFA and we have to respect that.
“Louis is still touch and go, we haven’t seen him on the grass yet which is a little bit frustrating. We are not going to force him back in too quickly because we need him for the long term."
Josh Eppiah, Tyler Magloire and Ali Koiki remain sidelined with the injured trio expected to be back some time in December.
