Jon Brady was delighted with his side’s 3-1 win at promotion rivals Bradford City.
Goals from Mitch Pinnock, Shaun McWilliams and Sam Sherring, his first for the club, saw the Cobblers strengthen their place in the third automatic promotion spot and also close in on second-placed Stevenage.
“I’m really pleased and we got almost everything we asked for from the players,” he said.
“We’ve had some great results away from home against some of the top sides, that can build belief but we can’t sit on it.
“It was a very composed finish from Mitch but that goal was a real team effort. We pressed really well today and we had some great combination play.
“Everyone is playing their part, we are trying to create a massive togetherness at the club and as a club we are really proud of the awards we have won this week. The Chairman is really supportive of what we are doing and this result is for all the staff back at home as well.
“We achieved what we wanted to today and we know what we can do but we have got to keep the squad fit and strong and keep working hard.”
