On May 24th 1997, a last minute goal from John Frain secured promotion for the Cobblers in front of 32,000 Northampton Town fans at Wembley.
On Friday, the club hosted a special reunion event at Sixfields where members of the 1997 squad were invited to look back on that famous day 25 years ago with questions from the audience, stories of their memories and all of this hosted by the It's All Cobblers To Me podcast team.
Among those present were manager Ian Atkins, Andy Woodman, Ian Clarkson, Lee Colkin, John Frain, Ian Sampson, Ray Warburton, Sean Parrish, Roy Hunter, Dean Peer, Michael Warner and Ali Gibb.
