25 years ago this May, we were also in the play offs, and on that occasion a last minute goal from John Frain secured promotion for the Cobblers in front of 32,000 Northampton Town fans at Wembley in 1997.
We will host a special reunion event at Sixfields on Friday May 20th where members of the 1997 squad will be invited to look back on that famous day 25 years ago with questions from the audience, stories of their memories and all of this hosted by the It's All Cobblers To Me podcast team.
