Liam Roberts comes back into the Cobblers squad for Wednesday's play-off semi-final second leg against Mansfield Town after serving a one-match ban following his sending off at Barrow.
Jon Brady is meanwhile waiting on the fitness of a number of players including Louis Appere, Josh Eppiah and Aaron McGowan.
“We’ve spoken to the medical staff on a couple of players,” he said.
“We have spoken with the medical staff and also the players to see where things are and whatever decisions are made they will be the right ones for Wednesday night.
“Louis struggled after quite a bad hit the other night but we will wait and see and it will probably be a last minute decision on him.”
