Thank you to everyone who attended Wednesday's Consultation Evening at Sixfields or who has sent emails in to the club.
We very much appreciate your time and input and the meeting was held in an excellent spirit. There were some very good ideas and suggestions discussed for the short, medium and long term for the club to take forward and consider.
Among the topics discussed were suggestions with what to do behind the East Stand, although this was recognised as a later part of the development. In the shorter term, ideas centered around a Fan Zone, where that should be and what that might include, covered areas for pre-match activities outside the stadium, working to improve the matchday experience, some ideas for Carr's Bar including bigger screens, increasing the offering of sports channels, WIFI in the bar, ways of reducing waiting or queueing times at busy periods, smaller real ale containers to reduce potential wastage, the thought of charging away fans to use the bar and utilising skills/offers from supporters at busy times.
Other suggestions and ideas looking a little further ahead were around maximising the potential opportunities from a winter World Cup next season, the possibility of being able to pre-order half time refreshments, concerts at the stadium and some electric charge points for supporters travelling a longer distance.
These were just some of the topics covered and we would like to thank all supporters for their input.
The club will continue to consult with supporters throughout the process and a reminder that the email address remains open at sixfieldsdevelopment@ntfc.co.uk
