A round up of the weekend action for our players out on loan

28 March 2022

Five of the players out on loan from Northampton Town were involved in action on Saturday afternoon.

Defender Josh Flanagan and midfielder Liam Cross both started for St Ives Town who lost 2-0 away to Peterborough Sports in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central. Flanagan had an effort saved with 10 minutes to go as the hosts looked to get back into the game.

Charlie Woods was involved as Quorn drew 1-1 at home to Deeping Rangers in the uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division North. The goalkeeper made an excellent save on the half-an-hour mark and another good stop late on.

Finally, defender Courtney Lashley started and forward Jack Connor was a second half substitute for Desborough Town who came from two goals down to win 3-2 at home to Wellingborough Town in the uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division South.
