Jon Brady says the squad are under no illusions about the size of the challenge ahead as the Cobblers travel to resurgent Carlisle United on Saturday.
“We’ve faced some tough challenges this season and Saturday will be no different,” he said.
“We know it will be tough but we are relishing the challenge and we will go there to attack the game to try and get the three points.
“Paul Simpson has gone back in there and they have won three games in a row. It looks like he has rejuvenated their players and I am fully aware how good a coach and manager Paul is."
