Jon Brady has provided a squad update ahead of Saturday’s clash with Tranmere Rovers.
“It’s been a big month for us but hopefully by the end of this week we will nearly have everyone back,” he said.
“Saturday might come a bit too soon for one or two, we will just have to wait and see.
“We have been hit quite hard by injuries and on top of that we had Shaun McWilliams suspended for two games and that has affected the balance of the side.
“We are getting some players back now and hopefully we can keep those players fit then for the run-in."
Speaking about loanees Chanka Zimba (pictured, hamstring) and Idris Kanu (fractured jaw), Brady said:
“Chanka is back training with us and has been doing a bit of ball work but Idris has still got a couple of weeks before he can start moving.
“Losing Idris was a real shame because he was that attacking midfielder we were looking for but he put his body on the line for us and we look forward to having him back soon.”
