Northampton Town Football Club

Kelvin Thomas has been speaking of his pride at the club's community work.

The Northampton Town Community Trust was recently nominated for the More Than Football Award for the Tackling Loneliness project - one of just ten clubs across Europe to make the shortlist which also included Juventus and Feyenoord.

"We are very proud of the More Than Football Award nomination, it is incredible to be on that list," he said.

"The EFL are very proud of that and the community work we do is very important to us as owners and the club as a whole. It is part of our DNA. There is so much unseen work that goes on so for the Northampton Town Community Trust to be recognised is great.

“Special mention to our former manager Keith Curle and the players who did a lot of work with the project, that is a very proud nomination for us and hopefully we can take that forward even further."
