The Northampton Town Community Trust are currently recruiting for two positions.
EDUCATION & SPORT MENTOR - FULL TIME (37.5 HRS PER WEEK)
SALARY: £17,000 -£19,000 PLUS PERFORMANCE BASED INCENTIVES
Working in Primary and Secondary schools across Northamptonshire, you will inspire, engage and support young people to achieve their potential. Using the unique appeal of the football club and sport, you will deliver the NTFC CT schools’ provision and the Premier League Primary Stars programme. This will include delivery of classroom-based support in literacy and numeracy, healthy lifestyles/PSHE sessions, physical activity lessons in groups or one to one, girls’ football, disability football, targeted behaviour interventions and extra-curricular activities in football and multi-skills.
HEALTH & WELL-BEING ACTIVATOR - FULL TIME (37.5 HRS PER WEEK)
SALARY: £19,000 PLUS PERFORMANCE BASED INCENTIVES
This exciting role will see you deliver a range of Health and Wellbeing projects and programmes for NTFC Community Trust. These activities and interventions will support both the physical and mental health of people in targeted communities across Northamptonshire, often but not always using sport/football as a tool. The Health and Wellbeing Activator will actively work with partner organisations to deliver shared objectives around increasing physical activity and well-being levels amongst residents of Northamptonshire (with a focus on Northampton, Wellingborough and Kettering), collecting data along the way to show our impact. Whilst in the role you will receive training and CPD as well as opportunities to shadow senior delivery staff.
