All supporters invited to Sixfields for popular event

The Northampton Town Open Day will take place at Sixfields on Sunday July 17th with gates open from 11am.

The popular event, which returns this year having been postponed in each of the last two years because of the pandemic, offers free admission and fun for all of the family.

Among this year's attractions are the chance to watch an open training session on the pitch (11.30am) a chance for all young supporters present to come on to the pitch and play against the first team squad in a special young fans v players challenge (approx 12.15pm) and the chance to meet the squad for photos and autographs (12.30pm) with plenty of fan activities and stalls outside and around the stadium.

Among the stalls and attractions scheduled to be here are: WT Transport who are bringing lorries and a touring car, Gravity Entertainment are bringing an inflatable football target goal, Country Lion, Northants Police, Northants Fire, Army cadets, LSM, DJ, face painter, Delicious Sweets & Treats, ice cream man, Jinks (food wagon), Everyone Active, Fitness4Less, Specsavers, St Johns Ambulance, Velvet Mortgages, Sixfields Travel Club, Hope Centre, Cynthia Spencer, Trapp’d, Cummins with lots of freebies and the Samaritans.

The day will also see the launch of the brand new away kit, which will be available to view in the club store for the very first time from 11am that morning and details of how you can pre-order will follow.

Photos of the new home kit, chosen by supporters in an online vote, will be available to view online at 7pm on Tuesday July 12th with pre-orders available online from 8am on Wednesday July 13th.
