Jon Brady is pleased with the club's summer recruitment work so far, but says there is still some more to do. He is also pleased that the core of last season's squad remain in place.
“It’s hard for a lot of teams at this level to keep that continuity but the fact we’ve kept a core group from last season is a real positive for us," he said.
“We have built around that group and we have still got a bit to go. We feel that’s important for us to be competitive this season and we are working hard on that.
“We are working on a lot of things and to have strength in depth in the squad will be hugely important.
“A few of the players aren’t quite up to their levels yet, the season is going to come round pretty quick and we have got to try and hit the ground running on July 30th and the remaining pre-season fixtures will be important to us.”
